Commercial clarity
Published rates.
Published hourly rates are in USD. Your quotation will confirm the billing currency, scope and applicable taxes. The rate you see is the rate you pay for listed hourly work: no onboarding fee and no premium for a short booking. Updated quarterly.
How seniority is selected
Consultant
Defined delivery under guidance for well-bounded work.
Senior
Owns a workstream, makes design judgements and guides others.
Principal / Architect
Sets approach across systems, risk and stakeholders for complex decisions.
The band offered matches the responsibility required. Specialist fit is confirmed before booking.

How commercial shapes differ
Hourly bookings
Time against an agreed question or task. Use the table above for listed capabilities.
Retainers
Reserved capacity each month, with unused-hour rules stated in the quote.
Assessments
Fixed fees for defined scopes — see Technology assessments. Published day counts are indicative; fee and date are confirmed in writing.
Managed operations
Monthly fees by tier after estate assessment. Starting fees are published; final pricing follows scope and SLA.
Blocks and terms
| Single block | 4 hours minimum. No commitment, no notice period. |
| Retainer | 20–160 hrs/month. Discount vs list and unused-hour rules are stated in the retainer quote. |
| On-call | Named engineer, defined response window. Monthly fee plus hourly on use — quoted for the estate. |
| Sprint | Fixed price against a one-page scope. Typical duration 2–6 weeks; price follows scope and dependencies. |
| Squad | Monthly fee by agreed composition and continuity terms. |
| Managed | Monthly by scope and SLA tier. Published starting fees: Guard $1,900 · Operate $4,000 · Own $8,000. Many growing businesses start with Guard or Operate after an estate assessment. |
| Audits | Fixed fees from $5,800. Choose the assessment that matches estate size and the decision you need — not every enquiry requires a full-estate audit. |
What your quote should make clear
People & scope
Who does the work, what is included and how completion is assessed.
Fees & changes
Currency, applicable taxes, payment schedule and how scope changes are priced.
Continuity & exit
Availability, handover, cancellation and any unused-hour terms.
Why we publish rates.
Our delivery team is based in India. That is the structural reason published bands sit where they do — not junior staffing, not a loss-leader, and not a rate that rises after the first invoice without agreement.
People proposed for your engagement are named before work starts. If the person offered does not match the band discussed, say so and we will correct it.
Start with clarity.
What would make your business easier to run?
Tell us the operational challenge. We will discuss whether a short conversation, a scoped assessment or a delivery engagement is the right next step.
